The LC/MS/MS Analytical Services group at Ordway Research Institute is proud to offer as a service to our members, affiliates, and clients sample analysis using Liquid Chromatography Tandem Mass Spectrometry (LC/MS/MS).

Ordway provides method development and routine mass spectrometry services. Both single and triple quadrupole LC/MS systems are available to perform qualitative and quantitative analysis to suit your analytical needs. Our capabilities include sample analysis, including the extraction of biological samples (plasma, urine, tissues, and various others), for low levels of pharmaceutical compounds.

Ordway scientists have over 20 years of bioanalytical and mass spectrometry experience to assist you with your analysis needs. Our staff utilizes an Applied Biosystems MDS/Sciex API5000 LC/MS/MS mass spectrometer to offer maximum sensitivity for your small molecule applications.

Methods validated (non-GLP) at Ordway include but are not limited to:

• Various compounds in biological growth media (Mueller-Hinton Broth, 7H9 Middlebrook media) and  matrices including plasma, urine, cerebral spinal fluid, tears, and corneal tissue.  Analyses support PK simulation from Ordway Hollow-Fiber experiments.
• Anti-viral compounds in cell culture media (RPMI, MEM, and DMEM with additives).
