The Office for Sponsored Research is dedicated to supporting and assisting Ordway researchers from the identification of funding opportunities through the entire life of the award. The department is a “one-stop-shop” for Investigators regarding grants and grants administration.
Institutional Biosafety It is the policy of Ordway Research Institute (“Ordway”) that all research involving recombinant DNA (“rDNA”) regulated materials (“covered research”) must have Ordway’s approval before the project can be initiated. Such approval may only be granted by Ordway’s Institutional Biosafety Committee (“IBC”). Before granting its approval, the IBC shall ensure that covered research is being conducted in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws and the National Institutes of Health’s Guidelines for Research Involving Recombinant DNA Molecules (the “NIH Guidelines”). Ordway, through its IBC, reserves the right to establish at any time, additional procedures as deemed necessary to govern and discharge its responsibilities regarding covered research.
